As I read the first chapters, I couldn't help but marvel at Henrietta's personality. She didn't complain about her illness; most people didn't even know she was sick unless she told them. She kept up with her household duties even though she couldn't have been feeling well. She was a tough lady. What did you think of her as a person? Did she remind you of anyone you know?

Henrietta was truly a great person. She put everyone before herself even while she was dying. I have no doubt that she would be glad to know that her cells went on to save millions and millions of lives.
ReplyDeleteI think she is a touch cookie. She was a powerhouse. She went years with all these things wrong with her medically, and never complained. She kept a house and born and raised kids. She never lost her temper. Shes would have been an amazing person to kow. She doesn't remind me of anyone I know because I don't think there is anyone quiet like her.

ReplyDeleteI feel henrietta was a very respectable women. As already said she was strong as a person. What gets me was how she seems more concerned about others than her well being by concealing it, and how she carried out her jobs she had everyday
